Anyone who has wanted to try a martial art has a chance this winter. Williamson County Parks and Recreation lists a beginner Tae Kwon-Do session at the Fairview Recreation Complex, running from Tuesday, December 1, 2026, through Sunday, February 28, 2027.
The instructor is Eddie Manor, a third-degree black belt who has practiced Tae Kwon-Do for more than 37 years. The county says students learn the martial art along with self-defense techniques, and that the training can build self-esteem and confidence.
The class is open to students who are at least 6 years old and younger than 75 years and 11 months. There are three sections, and each meets at its own times. One time on the listing is 5 to 6 p.m. The schedule for every section is on the county's registration page.
