Cheatham County Animal Control is holding a dog adoption event at Tractor Supply Company in Fairview on Saturday, September 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event was moved indoors because of the current heat advisory. The shelter said dogs will be available for adoption both at Tractor Supply and at the shelter itself that day.
All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, and up to date on shots. The adoption fee is $20.
Dogs expected at the event include Zelda, Hank, Athena and Rusty, according to the shelter.
