A Fairview musician with a long road behind him plays close to home on Thursday, October 22. Bruce Brown & Friends perform at Uncle Lenny's Country Cafe from 6 to 7:30 PM.
Brown is a guitarist and songwriter based in Fairview. He is best known for his thirty-one years as a member of the Charlie Daniels Band, according to the cafe's events page. With that band he recorded more than twenty albums and played shows around the world, including three trips to Iraq to entertain troops.
As a songwriter, Brown had three cuts with Travis Tritt. One of them was the number one hit "Tell Me I Was Dreaming."
