Thursday, October 29, is the last advertised chance to sign up for the Fairview Youth Wrestling Club, and it is also the night the season starts. Registration runs from 5 to 7 p.m. in the auxiliary gym at Fairview High School, and the club's first light practice begins at 5:30 p.m.
The club is open to children of pre-K through middle school age. Registration is $200 for the first child and $100 for each additional child.
After that, practices are held at the high school two days a week. Saturday tournaments will be added later in the season, and wrestlers can choose whether to enter them.
