Families with children who want to try wrestling can sign them up from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, in the auxiliary gym at Fairview High School.
The Fairview Youth Wrestling Club is open to children of pre-K through middle school age. Registration costs $200 for the first child and $100 for each additional child in the family.
The team practices two days a week at the high school, and the first light practice is at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 29. Saturday tournaments will be added as the season goes on, and wrestlers can choose whether to take part.
If Tuesday does not work, there is a second registration night from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 29.
