Fairview Recreation Complex will host a painting class for kids on Saturday, September 26, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Instructor Laurie Feinstein will show children how to use acrylic paint, puff paint, glitter paint and other materials while they paint their own name sign on a 10 by 30 inch canvas. The class is aimed at young artists just starting out and is open to children at least 6 years old but younger than 13.
All painting materials will be provided, though organizers suggest kids wear a smock or clothes they do not mind getting paint on. The class costs $35, and space is limited, so pre-registration is required.
