Painters of any skill level can try a snowy barn scene in oil this winter at the Fairview Recreation Complex. Williamson County Parks and Recreation lists a session running from February 6 to February 21, 2027.

Quintin Burlingame, a Certified Ross Instructor, will teach the Bob Ross wet-on-wet technique. The class follows Season 11, Episode 6 of "The Joy of Painting," and each student will finish a winter landscape with a barn on a 12-by-16-inch canvas.

The fee is $60, and the instructor brings all the materials. The class is open to ages 11 and up, though the county recommends it for ages 13 and older.

Space is limited and you have to register in advance. The county has not given a class time yet. Send questions to Mack Cronin at mack.cronin@williamsoncounty-tn.gov. Any credit, transfer or refund has to go through Mack at least 48 hours before the class.
