Shoppers at the Fairview Walmart can pick up a free smoothie on Friday afternoon, when oat milk brand Planet Oat sets up at the store as part of a three-day swing through the area.
The stop runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, October 9, at the Walmart at 7100 Hopgood Rd. A representative for the brand said it is free and open to the public, and no RSVP is required.
The company calls it the Humble Brag Tour, and it is using the trip to introduce a new product, Humble Edition Oatmilk. According to the representative, the new oat milk is made with five ingredients and was inspired by homemade recipes. The smoothies handed out at the stop will be made with it, and branded merchandise will be given away as well. Visitors are also invited to celebrate their own wins, "big or small," the representative said.
Fairview is the first of three stops. The tour moves to the Walmart at 3600 Mallory Ln in Franklin on Saturday, October 10, from noon to 4 p.m., and to the Walmart at 5531 Edmondson Pike in Nashville on Sunday, October 11, from noon to 4 p.m.
