Fairview is getting a night of Poe on October 10, with a reading planned at the Historical Village in the Triangle School billed as "a night of tales, shadows, and the macabre." The reading starts at 7 p.m. at 7112 Westview Dr. Selections include "The Raven," "The Tell-Tale Heart," "The Cask of Amontillado," "Annabel Lee," "The Masque of the Red Death" and "The Bells," among others. Entry is $13. Those who want to add on a ghost hunting experience afterward can do so for $20, with only 13 spots available. Tickets are on sale now, with a QR code on the event flyer linking to purchase.
