Republican Women of Williamson County is inviting the public to meet five Republican candidates seeking office this fall, at an event set for Monday, October 5, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the Carothers Room at Embassy Suites Cool Springs, 820 Crescent Center Drive in Franklin.
The candidates include Brent Taylor, running for U.S. Congress District 9, and Charlie Hatcher, running for U.S. Congress District 5. Also attending are Jack Johnson, a candidate for State Senate District 27, Jake McCalmon, a candidate for State House District 63, and Lee Reeves, a candidate for State House District 65, the district that includes Fairview.
