Adults 55 and older can sign up for a day trip from the Fairview Recreation Complex to the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville on Monday, November 9. The trip runs from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and costs $15.

The group will go to the Bluebird's senior show, which the cafe holds once a month with coffee and donuts. The Bluebird is a 90-seat room in a small strip mall outside downtown Nashville. It is known around the world as a place where songwriters play their own songs, including ones that chart-topping artists have recorded.

After the show the group will go on to Green Hills Mall for lunch and some shopping.

The trip leaves from the Fairview Rec Center. Williamson County Parks and Recreation lists it among the complex's activities, and registration is online.
