Live music at Uncle Lenny's Country Cafe on Thursday, October 8, comes from Mandy Keez, who plays from 6 to 7:30 PM.
Keez has been a professional musician all her life, according to the cafe's events page. She started piano lessons at age seven and formed her first rock band at 10. She holds a BA in Music from Northern Illinois University and ran Park Ave Guitarz in the Chicago area for more than three decades.
She moved to Nashville in 2022 to pursue songwriting. She also teaches piano and guitar and coaches other songwriters.
