Fairview Recreation Complex is offering a drawing class for adults using the Zentangle method on Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The Zentangle method teaches participants to create images using structured patterns, called tangles, built from combinations of dots, lines, curves, s-curves and orbs. Williamson County Parks and Recreation, which runs the class, says it is an easy-to-learn and relaxing way to make art.
The class is open to those 18 and older. The fee is $40, and the instructor will provide materials, though returning students are asked to bring materials from previous classes.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Questions can be directed to Kaelyn Terry at Kaelyn.Terry@williamsoncounty-tn.gov. Credits, transfers and refunds must be processed with Terry at least 48 hours before the class.
