Fairview turned out in force this week for six-year-old Grace Welker, diagnosed with leukemia, with orange shirts, signs, fundraisers and meals spreading across town. On the field, Fairview High football stayed unbeaten at 5-0 with a 40-9 homecoming win over Stewart County, while volleyball and girls soccer both picked up wins over Camden Central and Hillsboro. Construction continues at Fairview City Center, though Mayor Lisa Anderson says no restaurants have signed on yet.
