A Heat Advisory remains in effect for Fairview and Williamson County until 7 PM Sunday, with heat index values up to 108. Mayor Lisa Anderson's State of Fairview address covered two new freestanding ERs, City Center progress and the city's 42.3 percent property tax rate increase, which we break down separately since it applies only to the city portion of the bill. It's also Homecoming week at Fairview High, with all four grade levels rolling out parade floats and the undefeated Yellow Jackets and Falcons both facing their toughest tests of the season.
